Oh! Mizuki Shigeru

Date:
Sep.11,2004(Sat) - Oct.31,2004(Sun)

Detail

One of the most important manga (comic) artists in Japan, Mizuki made the image of strange yokai (specters, monsters and goblins) more familiar to us in his career over fifty years. Produced by his two great fans, Aramata Hiroshi and Kyogoku Natsuhiko, this show introduces the fascinating and mysterious world of Mizuki with such exhibits as the original sheets of his early manga, the old picture scrolls which inspired him and the superbly-detailed replicas of manga props.
