Splendor of Women in Modern Japanese Paintings - Baikoan Collection

The art collector Baikoan, attracted to Bijinga (portraits of beautiful women in Japanese art), has been collecting them with his unique viewpoint since 1970's. His collection includes the works by the various painters of Taisho and Showa period such as Uemura Shoen, Kaburaki Kiyokata, Ito Shinsui and Ishii Tekisui. With Baikoan's full cooperation we show highly selected 83 works from his Bijinga collection.
