Giorgio de Chirico (1888-1978, b. Greece), one of the greatest painters in the 20th century, was active mostly in Paris and Italy. The metaphysical art movement which he founded to depict mysterious inner world behind the visible ordinary life had a big influence on the Surrealists.
 This retrospective exhibition showcases de Chirico’s 104 masterpieces including the collection of le Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (donated by Isabella de Chirico) and some private collections from Europe and Japan.
